Technology In Focus Series
The Technology In Focus Series is designed to spotlight the latest, cutting edge technologies, trends and topics that have people talking!  This event series will tackle questions like – What exactly is this new technology or trend?  How will it affect my business?  What revenue opportunities exist?  Are there legal issues?  What does the future look like?  And much more!

Each event is uniquely designed to deliver relevant information in a compelling and entertaining environment, but the common goal remains the same – to instill  attendees with knowledge, ideas and, of course, excitement about what's new and what's yet to come in the technology industry. 

The Technology In Focus Series content is driven by the Content Advisory Board – Washington Technology Industry Association.  This group, made up of entirely of volunteers, is heavily involved in the technology industry – here in Washington State, and beyond.  They are responsible for selecting the topics, determining the format, finding just the right speakers, and delivering an exciting event.  If you are interested in participating on this board, please email the Washington Technology Industry Association to get involved.

Location: alternating between Seattle and Bellevue/Kirkland

Networking Events
WTIA networking events are casual gatherings that typically draw between 150 to 200 people. The attendees represent the younger demographic of our organization (ages 25-40) and are employees/managers from Microsoft, Amazon, Real Networks, and smaller start-up tech companies in Seattle. We typically find a charitable organization to partner with for each networking event, raffling off prizes to raise money for the charity.

Frequency: 6-7 per year
Location: alternating between Seattle and Bellevue/Kirkland
Time: 5:00p – 8:00p


Urban Leadership Series
Where technology, business and the city meet!
The Urban Leadership Series is where technology, business and the city meet!This WTIA series was created as a unique forum for the technology community, business owners, corporate and government officials to connect over hot topics and common issues that are happening in the Puget Sound region. The Urban Leadership Series will feature some of today’s most dynamic technology and business leaders, as well as government officials who will share their insights on the present and the future of technology, economic, policy, and environmental trends and issues that we need to be aware of in order to prosper in this technological and global economy that we live in today. Not only will this insight be presented from a leader in the community, but there will also be an opportunity for open discussion on these topics with attendees.

Frequency: 2nd Tuesday of each month (exceptions: January & July)
